MEET DR. ANGEL S. PAAS
Award-winning, board-certified gynecologist

Her clinical interests include preventive gynecology, adolescent care, abnormal bleeding, perimenopause and menopause, individualized hormone therapy, office-based procedures, and gynecologic surgery.
Education and training
Dr. Paas earned a Bachelor of Science in biology with a concentration in neuroscience from Duke University. She received her medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and graduated in the top 10 percent of her class. She completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Board certification and professional commitment
Dr. Paas is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and maintains her certification. Her professional affiliations include the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Georgia OB/GYN Society, Medical Association of Georgia, and Cobb County Medical Society.
Leadership in individualized hormone care
Dr. Paas has provided hormone pellet therapy since 2017 and is approaching 6,000 patients treated. Her process is intentionally individualized: recommendations are based on symptoms, history, laboratory findings, health considerations, goals, and ongoing response—not a standardized commercial dosing formula.
Recognized by Cobb County
Dr. Paas has been voted Best OB/GYN in Cobb County six of the last seven years. She considers that recognition a reflection of the trust patients place in the entire Kennesaw Gynecology team.
Beyond the office
Dr. Paas is a wife and mother of two sons. Her personal understanding of the many roles women carry informs the practical, compassionate way she approaches care.
